Overview of business to business negotiations

How to do business to business negotiations?

When you talk or think about business negotiations you must always think that is some kind of trade reat that will give advantages to both parties, and not just one. That is more an impose or obgligation than a business. Taxes is a good example of what business is not.

The second thing you must have in your mind when you talk about business is what you are willing to accept as a business. If it's not fair to both parties then you are just not going to cooperate will you? You must keep in your mind that business means respect too. You would not ask an unfair business would you?

Most business to business negotiations are based on competition. You can read online that most treaties are based com competition rules than anything else. All the competitiors are trying to get some kind of advantage over the other and they are not willing to back up one inch to get what they want so much.

Most business to business negotiations are done face to face in an ordinary meeting room. It has no special security, it has no special facility, only people talking.

I read about one year ago that when three banks were negotiating their future they had their meeting in a special room that was completely isolated from anything outside. The room had no way to let any piece of information come out of it. No mobile phones worked inside, it was a realy blindated room.

Why are so many business negotiations so secretive? It's because of the consequences that they would have to face if a competitor found what they were just doing. Can you imagine the loss they would have to face? I don't want to imagine. Fear is what makes them so hard working.

Do you remember the times you worked based on fear? You would not feel that good but you sure worked like a mule to get pass that fear. Once you felt in security you just relaxed again...

The same goes for the negotiations. One secret to make the other part more colaborative is to inject on them some kind of fear like business with the competition instead. I am sure they will colaborate with you much faster and ask you better deals.

You see that in business you fight like in a war just with different weapons. Now you fight for money and not for land like yesterday. Money seems to be the land of today.

Thank you very much for reading and happy life and good business. Dear reader. Keep reading more to learn more about negotiations. Don't stop there either.
