When the sun is setting, with day's end, glow
and our spirit, is satisfied, with all that we, know
When the last ripple, has finally met, it's end
and each tree, has accepted, each bend
When the day is over, and everyone, is home
when our sons and daughters, have no where, to roam
When a fever breaks, and there is someone, to care
like a problem so great, with some body, to share
Before a storm, there is a sickness, at hand
it is most silent, and calm, until it hits land
Like anything else, in this life, that we live
there is calm, before, and after, we, give

I stand overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains
its beauty abounds for miles
it's as though the mountains reach

Caressing my shoulders and tickling my neck.
It calls me forward through time and
Nature
The gentle breeze
Sings its lullaby
Caressing my skin
And relaxing my body.
The bubbling brook
Drowns out the world
Carrying
