Starting a business without a business plan is like starting a house without the design. You see the point.

What is a business plan?

A business plan is simply the way you are going yo run your business in order to archive and maintain your financial goals.

It's also a road map in case you get lost. If the goal is the destiny, the plan is the road to get there.

A business is something very serious to run. You can only run one efficiently if you have a very good plan with you. Otherwise you will sink in the sea.

The business should take pretty good care of you once you learn how to make and execute the plan efficiently.

1 - The plan is only the way to get to your business goals.

1.1 - The business plan must have all the steps in order to achieve and maintain your goal status. If the plan cannot lead you to your goal it's not the plan.

1.2 - Also the plan must be executable. It's not worth to have a plan hard enough to be impossible to follow.

2 - The plan must be executed now. Do not waste your time with future plans. You need what works now because tomorrow you can already be bankrupted. The plan must always be in the present tense.

3 - The plan must be easily readable. You don't want something that only a consultant can interpret. The plan must be something very likely to be used by a five year old with no school. Draws are fine.

4 - The plan must be definite. A road that can change all the time is not trustworthy. The definite road will work much better for your business and your men.

5 - The plan must be achievable in the mean time.

You can try to make your own business plan but the best way is to ask someone that already knows for sure what to do. This kind of plan is not a joke. It's what will make or break your business.

A professional plan maker must know your goals, must know your business, what you will need, what you will not need which is even more important, what you cannot do by yourself and the help you will need and all that complicated stuff. The proffesional plan maker should be well paid so he puts all his effort in this work.

Finally it's all up to you to execute that plan to the end. You will meet many failures along the way, you will have many troubles but you must defeat it all.

The business place is a war place not a peaceful place, instead of fighting with guns you fight with money and ideas.
