How to date your spouse is something that you have been wondering about for a long time. The idea of dating spouses may seem strange to some but it's not that strange at all and when a marriage starts seeing its rocky years after the honeymoon getting into dating again can work wonders with any marriage.

You got married and not the hassle of dating is gone. Wrong. Dating your spouse can go a long way in keeping a marriage healthy and happy. It's rather simple too since you don't' have to worry about what you wear or where you go since the two of you now know each other well enough to be comfortable. The first step in dating your spouse is to make a date with them.

Ask your spouse out for the evening and find a sitter for the kids. You don't actually have to leave the house but privacy is a good factor in a date. Dress for the evening and mind your manners. Remember to leave the topics of work and bills out of the evening. The date with your spouse is a time to focus on the two of you and nothing else. Talking about each other and what makes you happy should be the focus of the evening; you have the rest of your lives to discuss bills and payments.

The idea of the date with the spouse to get reacquainted and put some romance back into the picture after the honeymoon phase has ended. Realities have no place on a date to ease the pressures of reality. The two of you can go to enjoy a movie together and share a tub of popcorn like you used to do or go a nice dinner for two followed by dancing.

A date with the spouse can be as simple as a walk around a lake or on the beach. The time spent walking and holding hands in silence can help to bring you closer than the most elaborately planned dinner. Dating of spouses can be done without leaving the house as previously mentioned. Set a date and time for your date and make sure that you have everything ready before hand. Once everything is ready or where you can leave it alone for a little bit go get ready for your evening.

While it may sound strange you can actually "pick up" your date even in the same house. Getting ready in separate rooms and going to knock on your spouse's door a few minutes prior to the date is all that has to be done. This simple act has already set the tone for an amazing evening of romance that can rekindle the dwindling spark caused by a dull daily routine. Dating your spouse is just like dating them prior to your marriage and can only lead to good things.
