A Warm Moment
In a warm moment, time slows as I pause,
you look into my eyes and ask me if I'm ok.
I answer only "yes" and a quiet smile,
You ask me if I'm sure, I smile, again "yes", my eyes close,
you smile and pull me closer into your warmth.
I'm not in pain; I only paused to savor the moment.
Embracing with my heart, body, and mind
at how good you feel, at how good we feel together
physically, emotionally, and thoughtfully so.
Warm flashes in my heart and mind
trigger thoughts of my dreams being a sudden reality,
I'm actually with someone who connects with me
like I've only dreamed about and thought impossible.
Someone who adores me, and whom I adore the same,
giving me the strength to enjoy and just be,
giving me the courage to ignore fear,
the energy to enjoy our chemistry to the fullest,
and the patience to notice the smiles that are meant only for me.
The beauty you tell me exists in me is believable
finally by your convincing lingering gazes,
the light in your eyes, your content smiles
when you explore my expressions
and run your fingers down my face
.
The kindness and values you know me to possess
makes me possess them even more vehemently than before.
The comfortable protection that I feel from you,
your strength in protecting me in the kindest and sweetest of ways,
my desire to be as near to you as possible,
and my patience to stay away at times in order not to smother.
How much I enjoy missing you when you are gone,
and my absolute joy upon your return.
Your face, your smiles, your heart, your thoughts,
such a beautiful site for sore eyes
that have never experienced such wonderful, pure, amazing chemistry.
Thank you for asking if I'm ok, I'm not in pain,
I've never felt better in my life,
I only needed to treasure and embrace a warm moment.Write your article here
