I used to be young,
I used to be thin.
I used to be witty,
I used to be without sin.
I used to be charming,
I used to be fun.
I used to be outgoing,
I used to lay out in the sun.
But, those days are over,
They no longer exist.
The way I was,
Is now just a list.
I've gotten older
and do not recognize.
This person I've become,
Is no longer any prize.
I used to be outgoing,
Without a care.
I am now a basket case
And everybody stares.
I used to be unafraid,
to be who I was.
I used to be excited
and loved life it was a buzz.
But, now I am older,
No longer free.
I don't recognize,
The person I used to be.
