Go on.
Feet numbed by the cold. Body exhausted by the daily to and fro. Another nine to five. Come. Gone.
Go on.
Not so cold today. Body exhausted by the daily to and fro. Another nine to five. Come. Gone.
Go on.
A few more cold days pass. Body and mind exhausted together. Another nine-to-fiver comes. Goes.
Go on.
The weekend has arrived. The routine life we've carved ourselves dictates that today, we can be spontaneous.
Go on.
Go on.
But you can't.
Even on the weekend. Another nine to five. Come. Gone.
And you go on.
And you go on.

Not so cold

In class
And on the way home
We were close
We had fun
I was so happy and excited
I
by Shaheen Darr

Wake the desire in you to explore
The world lies
