For anyone interested in fuel economy, the Elantra is a very stylish and family friendly model that will suit almost anyone's price range. The Elantra is a sedan vehicle by Hyundai Motor Company, which is an automobile manufacturer originally based out of South Korea. Their target market is toward drivers looking for a smaller-sized, competitively priced, gas efficient vehicle. This vehicle is increasing in demand due to current economic situations. People are more interested in saving money on gas and having a reliable warranty. Demographics play a key role in the target market of this product. Younger age groups with smaller families are looking for a smaller vehicle that is stylish yet efficient.




The Elantra is a 4-door sedan vehicle, like many of Hyundai's other vehicles. It is available in either the base GLS trim or the SE trim package. Additional features are offered in an optional package. This vehicle is offered with either a 5-speed manual transmission or 4-speed automatic transmission. This car gets 24 MPG city and 33 MPG highway, which is one factor that has been leading their marketing promotions. It retails between $13,970 and 17,670. Many dealers offer discounts, whether it is a discount for brand loyalty or for a current promotion offered by that dealership. Most dealerships also offer financing options in addition to working with the customer's preferred financing company. Hyundai is known for its 10-year/100,000 mile warranty, which is actually doubled at some dealerships such as Jack Giambolvo Hyundai. Hyundai is advertised everywhere, which includes billboards, TV commercials, online, and other ways. Within each dealership, salespeople are available to advertise certain deals and specifications of each particular vehicle. They personally sell the products directly to the consumer. Dealerships for Hyundai are offered all over the United States, usually with several dealerships in each town. They are also located internationally, especially since they are originally based outside of the US. Not only are they shipped here directly from Hyundai manufacturers, but they also are purchased secondhand through auctions and trade-ins to resell. One main uncontrollable factor in today's market is the economy, which is currently driving down the auto industry. This company's objective is to gain popularity in the United States market by surpassing domestic vehicles in gas efficiency and lower cost, while still keeping safety in check with a very comprehensive
