I believe these documents and information is vital to our survival as a planetary race. Whether or not other countries could influence our government to do so is a whole other issue. Deception is the root of control. When someone or something or a group is deceptive or not forth coming it is usually because they want to control a situation, event, or person, and even people. Deception is the manipulation of truth to obtain a specific outcome. Should the U.S. Government release this information? Yes of course. Will it ever be disclosed? I highly doubt it. The "no" sayers have a good argument, in the fact that the masses are not ready to deal with the new situations that arise from the release of this type of information. Paranoia, civil unrest, distrust in government, and ultimately anarchy on a global level are just a few of the good reasons why this type of information will never be disclosed.

I believe that in order to unify our planet as human beings, there has to be an outside party that is not human to present itself. Today you might get on a plane and watch the middle eastern people 2 rows in front of you very closely the whole trip. If you knew there were aliens believed to be hostile toward us, you would spend your time looking out the window towards the sky. Fear is a very powerful tool, used since the beginning of human existence for control. Those who control the fear you are exposed to control you indirectly. By controlling the fear of not disclosing information on UFOs the U.S. government is keeping you safe from yourself and your fellow man. The reaction to this kind of information is too volatile for it to be released. It would do more harm than it would do good for the people. I believe in full disclosure and transparent government. Which is why I answer yes to the question posed in this debate. Once a governing body begins to deceive the people it serves and is compiled of, it begins to paint itself into a corner. One day the truth will be revealed, but not until a point in time comes where we will not care or will not be able to take action against those who deceived us. Deception and fear goes hand in hand with control. Those in control of how you are exposed to your fears have a form of control over you and everyone else, even me. Like my favorite US president said, "There is nothing to fear but fear itself". If you contemplate this phrase for enough time, you know that it rings true through your heart and soul. Say it in the mirror it feels great and empowering.
