Celestial Time Chase

Left the familiar orbit and went around the bend,
to the flat side of Earth, sitting on the edge grinning

Forgiveness alludes me

from wounds long ago.

Like angry waves of hurt

I'm  tossed  to and fro.

My heart was broken,

Worlds away

Mars

Happy

Peaceful

Thriving

Confounded by

Earths

Inhabitants

Unable

To

Live

In

Peaceful

Harmony.

Silence of the moon upon the lapping water,

smoldering embers of fire glowing,

a blanket of stars laid upon velvet dark,

Gathering of Souls

Were there a soundtrack to this gathering

it would be a dirge, a funereal drone

accompanying the slow,
