Poetry: One last time

by Patricia Watson

Created on: January 02, 2009   Last Updated: February 21, 2009

Why can't we laugh

One last time.

Can we kiss

like beginners,

One last time.

Would you please

Call me "baby"

One last time

Why can't we go back

To the very first time?

Let me pretend

One last time,

In my fantasy

You love me

Maybe our last time,

Will stretch to eternity.
