Well, the answer depends on the person. If the person is looking for a console to buy their 6-year-old kids, it would be wisest for them to buy the Wii, due to the Wii being popular and best for young children, elderly and non-gamers. The Wii has the most child-friendly games with things like Wii Music, Hanna Montana, Wii Fit, and many other games. That is what the Wii is best at.

But overall, the PS3 is best. First, it has many media uses that include watching movies, listening to music, buying movies off of PSN, surfing the Internet, and playing a free online service. The PS3 has 100 times better graphics than the Wii. Also, with games like Motor Storm and Little Big Planet, it can become the best for all-around use. Hardcore gamers are in love with the PS3 due to having games like Resistance 2, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Warhawk. PS3 also has a more advanced social networking system. That system is called PlayStation Home. You can actually recreate yourself onto PlayStation Home with its immense character characteristics.

The PS3 has PlayStation Network, which is a free Internet service where you can buy games, movies and TV shows, and play online games. It is considered the best service out of the three consoles, while the Wii has the worst service. In fact, the Wii has the worst games out of the consoles. So real gamers would turn away from the Wii when they notice the horrible selection of games. The Wii may have more exclusives, but they are often worse than the Atari 600 E.T game. I know people who bought the Wii think it will be a lot of fun, and they returned it in one week complaining about the terrible games on it. It happens over and over again.

I would rather take technological superiority over a children's-based system. I mean come on, only children would by games like Cartoon Network Racing. The Wii has only four truly good games - Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, No More Heroes, and Raving Rabbits. Besides, those Wii games are very mediocre if not worse. Now, let's compare them to the PS3 that has Metal Gear Solid 4, DC vs Mortal Kombat, GTA 4, Motor Storm, Warhawk, and many others. There is no way in the world Wii games will ever be better than PS3 games. I have a PS3, and I love everything about it. The music, the movies, home, and, of course, the games. So it's not a contest what is better. This is only a child's question.
