Poetry: Broken love

Dialogue With My Heart

Empty heart I hear your echo still No matter how I fill My time with changes made You bleed the same old shade of blue

Silent heart Others cannot hear you beat But I feel your song repeat That mournful tune of loneliness No one else knows, but I confess to you

Keep pushing you aside But you know I cannot hide Keep busy all the time But you're always on my mind

Nagging heart Calling out my hidden pain Steady like the fall of rain Misty cloudy grey inside Dark the way that love died for me

Grieving heart Never have you let go Old romance's sorrow Yearning always without hope Dream has sailed away, you know. Let be.
