Want to know how to make money by using spells? You're probably thinking, "How is that possible?" Well, it's pretty simple, but you can't really expect to cast a spell that will just turn into money. In a sense, that's kind of right. I'm referring to the spell 'High Level Alchemy'. What this spell does is that it converts any item into money by casting the spell amongst that item. Sounds complicated? Well, it really isn't.

Of course, this isn't the only method to making money by using spells, but indeed, the most profitable way. For example, you can make money by killing other players or killing high level monsters and picking up their drops, but think of all the money you're wasting by casting those spells. By casting 'High Level Alchemy' you will waste money by buying the runes, but it can be very useful and profitable if you use it the right way on the right items. But before you get all excited and go try using this spell, remember that it requires level 55 magic in order to do it. You can also try "Low Level Alchemy", but the high alchemy spell gives you 50% more money than the low alchemy spell or than what the General Store would give you for that item.

You can't just cast this spell on all the items you want to sell or don't need. Many items can be sold for a lot more than the money it can be converted into by using 'High Level Alchemy'. And also, remember that by using this spell you are are wasting runes (which cost money), so make sure that when you use 'High Level Alchemy', you get a profit out of it. I haven't tried using this spell to make money in awhile, but I have used it many times in the past. And I can tell you I've found it very useful. This spell requires one nature rune and 5 fire runes. So all you really need are the nature runes and a fire staff, since the staff provides unlimited fire runes. Nature runes cost around 220-230 GP.

Items that are most recommended to high alchemize are Rune Square Shields and Adamant Platebodies because they give a good profit. Other items i find very good to high alchemize are items you smith that are mithril or adamant, especially if you smith many of these items, since it's harder to sell all of them at once. But the truth is, most items you high alchemize won't give you a profit. Only a small percentage will give you a profit, but high alchemizing is a fast way of making money and a very good way of leveling up your magic since you recieve 65 Experience Points (XP) every time you cast it. Remember, you can always try using combat spells to kill other players and pick up their drops. It's your choice.
