It's done with, it's over, it's finished, -
And good riddance, let's call it a day,
Twelve months of Hell undiminished
Can be swept up and tidied away.
Midnight. A new day is dawning
With fireworks spangling the sky.
Let's welcome this January morning
And pray that the tears will dry.
