Pink - Funhouse

After attending Pink's concert last year I was excited about her new album coming out and I wasn't disappointed. I am going to rate each track out of 5. So here goes:

1. So What (3.35) 5/5

A great song to open up the album with. It is a very catchy upbeat song which will guarantee you to be singing the chorus 'So What I'm still a rock star!' included with jumping up and down with your hands in the air to the beat. It will put you in a good mood, as it is very upbeat. The chorus has the electric guitar playing to give it that edge which Pink is famous for. The song opens with nanana na na na na kind of child like and the guitar is playing is the same which really gets your attention. It is about Pink losing her husband but she doesn't care as she doesn't want him and it doesn't matter, as she is a rock star. I love the way Pink makes fun of herself and doesn't seem to care what anyone thinks. It is a great song if you have split up with someone as it looks on the good side of things.

2. Sober (4.11) 4/5

This track is slower paced giving a more serious tone. I love the background music which is the guitar playing which is very relaxing to listen to. Pink gets to show off her voice in this song. It has a desperate tone to the song and you feel that you can feel her pain. The orchestra is playing at the end in the background is a nice touch ad makes it seem intense. The track is about partying and drinking too much and that drink isn't making her happy she feels that once she sobers up she doesn't happy anymore. When she is drunk nothing can touch her though she feels like the party is over. Once she sobers up, she feels lost.

3. I don't Believe You (4.36) 4/5

An even slower song, which doesn't have much background music, which really sets off Pink's voice. You can only hear the piano playing softly and the orchestra playing. It's a very relaxing song to chill out to but you can't help yourself from singing along. It has a dreamy feel to it. The song is about Pink being in a bad relationship, which they are fighting a lot. She is trying to kid herself that he still wants her even though he is telling her not to come around. I think this song shows that Pink has a vulnerable side to her, which everyone has. She is trying to convince herself in anyway that she can that he still cares saying 'the passions there, so it's gotta be right, right?'

4. One Foot Wrong (3.24) 4/5

Another song, which is slower, but it has a jazzier vibe to it with trumpets
