There is always one person on your holiday list who simply doesn't really 'need' anything, and if they want something they're more than capable of going out and purchasing it for themselves. But, there are really a number of options for that man on your list who has everything! Sometimes, buying that perfect gift though requires you to spend some time considering what's appropriate so that you find just the right gift!
So let's start off with a few questions and solutions:
A) Is he single? If a man is single and he's pretty much got everything there are some very interesting things you can do to make your Christmas gift stand out. Here are a few ideas:
1. A Restaurant Gift Certificate - find out what his favorite restaurant is and buy him a gift certificate for dinner;
2. Does he like sports? Consider purchasing tickets for an upcoming game for his favorite team, or provide him a gift certificate so he can purchase them himself;
3. Housecleaning - Most single men really hate to clean (not all of them) but a wonderful gift would be to pay for one month of housekeeping service from a local housecleaning service;
4. Prepared Meals - Provide him with a gift certificate that lists one day for each month that you're going to provide him with a home cooked meal - you decide what the meals are going to be and list them out on the certificates;
5. Car Detailing - Let's face it most men love their cars and what better treat could you offer than an 'at home' car detailing. Check out your local classified advertisements and you're sure to find a local person who could carry out this task.
B) Is he married? If you're purchasing a gift for a married man all of the above possibilities exist, but you now have additional possibilities as well - here are just a couple of them:
1. Sitting - What married couple gets out as much as they'd like to? Offer a gift certificate for one free night (or weekend) of babysitting so the lucky couple can get away for a weekend - if they don't have children you can offer house-sitting services to care for plants and pets;
2. Gift Pack - You could consider a gift pack that includes wines, cheeses and chocolates for the lucky couple to share on a romantic evening - include wine glasses and cloth napkins for that special touch;
3. Movie Subscription - another option is to purchase a one year subscription to a video subscription service where he can pick and choose his favorite movies (something like NetFlix) at his convenience.
Finding that perfect gift for the man who seemingly has everything doesn't mean you have to spend thousands of dollars, it only means you need to be more creative! Happy Shopping!
