Each year there is a month dedicated to help stop domestic violence. Each year people try to put to a stop to domestic violence. They educate woman and children. When you walk into a womens bathroom many times you will see a card for battered womens shelters locally. They are also for abused children too. Here are four informative information on domestic violence prevention and awareness.
They have groups that are there to help victims of abuse get out of bad situations. They have shelters across America to help women and children. The help is there, but you have to ask for it. You have to speak up about domestic violence in order for it to stop. You have to leave the situation for it to stop otherwise domestic violence will keep going on in this world.
The domestic violence laws are getting tougher and tougher. It is help protect women and children from the abuser. It is to help the women to sometimes be forced out of abusive situation. For example, if a husband severely beat up his wife and cops witnessed it then the state can step in to press charges against the husband despite what the wife decides. Some situations a judge will automatically issue a restraining order whether the wife and husband like it or not.
If some women stay in an abusive relationship when children are involved then she could be charged with child neglect. The child neglect charge would be for failure to protect children from abuse. If your children are abused by anyone that you live then make sure to leave and contact the police. You don't want to lose your children to foster care or the abused kids shelter that is states custody.
Husbands who threaten to take children away from mothers are full of crap. Mothers have more rights in the United States than dads ever do. It is very difficult for a father to find the mother unfit despite how much money he has. A high power attorney can only do so much and only gain so much evidence.
Remember nobody can pull evidence out of thin air so don't worry if your husband takes you to court over the children if you leave him because he is abusive towards you or them.
If your husband threatens you then make sure to record it. Document the time, date, and anyone who witnessed it make sure to get a written statement from. You can use different devices to record what your husband does. Make sure to look around the Internet for hidden video and audio devices to record him when he is threatening you then you can show it to a judge.
Don't let domestic violence destroy you or a kids life. Get out of the abusive situation before it is too late. Don't let it get too bad. Abuse only gets worse as time goes by. Make sure to realize that someone who really beats the crap out of you on a regular basis does not love you despite what he or she tells you.
Someone who loves you would never beat the crap out of you to an extreme. There is no reason to ever tolerate abuse. It doesn't matter how small or big you are just remember you have to leave before you end up in a body bag by your ex husband or boyfriend.
