Benefits of being self employed is much greater that that of being employed by others, even the employer is an established entity.

Working for an established employer might give a feeling of being safe and secure but has its limitations also. You are working for someone else and the employer will ensure that he gets the outcome from you are much more than what he is paying you in cash or kinds. All your hard works are devoted for someone else to grow his business. You will be liked and well paid off so long you are a good money making machine for him or for his business. It is well known that a successful business always ensures that the output is greater than expenses, whether it is the expenses for employees or raw materials. That is from where the profit comes in.It is the very basic principal of any profit making business entity. Return has got to be greater than investment, otherwise it can

not exist.

Being employed you may feel secure that a fixed amount of money will be deposited to your bank account at the end of the month and don't have to worry other matters. But worse can show up if the business is not doing good and the employer thinks that he can not run it profitably anymore, he may decide to shut down his business and give notice to his employer not think much about their future. Some employer may be by now old enough to get a new job of similar pay packages that he was getting her after long years of services. Recent great recession has set up many similar examples.

Scenario in self employed business is different than above. All your employees including yourself and resources are working for you and your business. Your long hour of works are contributing to growths of your business. Your creativity and your foresight will be the key to success. You are able to make independent decision on future plans and how you want it to progress in right path, which is not the case when you are employed by others. There are no blame games to play when you are self employed. Your success and failures are dependent on your efforts, right moves and favorable situation

You will need investment and some experience to start with a self employed business. Depending on the types of venture you may need to employ some people to work for you. Your plans and foresight may not work well and may turn the business into a failure. But you have the control in your hand to save the investments on right time for another venture.

So considering all the fcats I would opt for being a self employed rather than being employed.
