Are You Ready for The One Who Will Come Like a Thief In The Night?

Are we close to the battle of Armageddon? Without a doubt, my answer is yes. Armageddon is the ultimate battle between the forces of good and evil foretold by the prophets, and documented by them in the Bible. Satan will do his work through the one Christians know as the Antichrist at Megiddo, a location that was a place of many decisive battles in ancient times. How close are we to the onset of this event? No one knows. What makes me think that we are close is from looking at history, through the Bible. If you look at the tower of Babel, and what they were trying to do, you can see that there is a similar train of thought that is emerging in our world today. If you believe the events of the Bible, you know what happened to those guys.

Sure, people have been thinking at many points in history that "this has to be the end" because the times were worse than any had seen before, shocking, and scaring them so much so that they were positive that nothing could be worse. What if the thought process about the events that lead up to Armageddon is not viewed with the right perspective? Many believe that the events will be very close, within a few years of Armageddon, but what if generations past have lived through many of those leading events already? WW1, WW2...remembering in the scriptures..."There will be wars and rumors of wars.", and certainly, the battles and circumstances nearest to the end will be of the likes the world has never known; but perhaps our journey to the battle of Armageddon has already started. Haven't the floods, hurricanes and other natural disasters over the years been greater than those in past history as of late? God's timeline is nothing like our own, after all.

I did read recently that there was additional fighting over the Gaza Strip, and I don't have to point out the significance of that area of the world in Biblical Prophecy, and that alone is not what makes me believe that we are close to Armageddon. The reason I think we are close is because of the similarities to the behaviors that were taking place in the early times when God had seen enough and took action. As I mentioned earlier, there is the tower of Babel, and then don't forget Noah and the flooding of the earth. In addition, years ago, it would be impossible for one man to take control over the entire earth...but now, with credit cards containing RFID chips, and the bio-implant technology, already introduced...well,
