The water reflects
The moons silvery light.
As I sit by the lake,
On a dark stormy night.
A perfect reflection...
Of souls that are twin.
The wind softly whispers...
Through the long needled pines,
The night birds sing...
Their lonesome song.
I close my eyes...
And open my heart.
I can feel your love...
But I will not cry.
The grass lies yellow...
All parched from the sun.
Can any one stop...
What fate has begun?
Know that I love you...
And know my hearts true.
Forever and always...
Know that I do.
You are my music...
The song of my soul.
A melody so sweet...
It never grows old.
My husband, my lover...
My soul-mate and friend.
Forever my darling...
Our love has no end.
