There is a big difference in middle school and elementary school. Elementary school is where students are taught many subjects all in one classroom. In the mean time, middle school is a bit more exciting. It would require you to move around to different classrooms for different subjects. The big difference is that you would get a locker.
Sixth graders should still be taught in an elementary school. Managing a locker and getting into classes on time seems to be like a big responsibility. At such your age, it is so called difficult. When sixth graders are taught in elementary, they are one of the higher grades in their school. By showing off as leaders to the younger grades, it is their responsibilities to set a good example to the younger grades. This would the beginning in setting a good example.
When these students reach sixth grade, they will get a lot more homework. They will need to remember their homework and assignments. They need to prepare for class without constantly going into their lockers to get books and materials. They simply cannot do that when they are in middle school. It is better to prepare for them in elementary school.
Middle school is somewhat close to high school. You get certain time tables and have a certain time to get to different classes. Everything will get so complicated if you do not prepare. The only way to prepare is to pass through grade six. Sixth graders will be easier to prepare for their future in elementary school rather than middle school. It just seems easier and would benefit their future better.
Middle school is a school preparing for high school and sixth grade is far off from high school. Elementary school is to prepare them for middle school so sixth graders should be in elementary school instead of middle school.
Sixth graders can also go in middle school; it might be a bit too new to them. Middle school is another stage in learning just like elementary school and high school. When sixth graders enter the middle school, things will be a lot harder. As you move on with your grade, the things that you are taught will slowly get harder as well.
Middle school is also a more open place. There will be a lot more events and clubs hosted by the school. Some clubs that you can join are hosted by students showing a leadership role. Sixth graders may seem a bit young to learn about leadership and contributing ideas. Sixth graders are only the beginning of showing leadership.
Sixth graders seem a bit extremely young to actually go into middle school. They may not developed time management, leadership and a lot more. Sixth graders in elementary schools will learn about these a bit better; it will also prepare them for middle school. When they actually go into middle school, it will be nothing new to them. They will find it exciting but not hard at all. It will be new to them but not too new since they are prepared in elementary school.
