Poetry: Beyond love

Hearts beat in time

To the rising tide. The silver moon.

A golden band for all your words.

I wore white; for tradition, naught else.

Propose a toast. To us!'

To us.

Drank wine like water.

Together forever.

You're so damn beautiful.

Can you hear me?

Meet me at the ice-gates.

Broken windows.

Shattered glass in the sand.

Blood flows. My heart-blood.

A name, a face.

We no longer beat in time.

I love you.

I ablaze, you aflutter.

Broken illusions.

You're so damn beautiful.

Can you hear me?

Meet me at the ice-gates.

Please...

Please...

One last breath in the rising tide.

Meet...me...

At...

The ice-gates.

I love you...
