Poetry: Love's strength

by rainbowgirlx

Created on: December 29, 2008

I can smell your perfume.

Anger; teardrop butterflies fall like rain.

The rainbow rises with the moon.

You're so damn beautiful,

And I've been to Hell and back

Over you, my Flower Girl.

I sliced my eyes, yet still the rainbow calls.

Closed my ears, but still you draw me in.

You're so damn beautiful.

Siren.

My willpower falters,

How could I hate my Flower Girl?

Smile for me. I love your smile.

My siren.

Between the devil and the deep blue sea

I lie, crushed by the rainbow shell,

Caught by the rising tide.

Entranced by your siren song.
