The bones shutter
Quake at the thought
The idea uttered
Causes one to be distraught
Confounded in that
Anything could cause such
Confusion, in fact
That one could feel so much
Lost to world
are ones emotions
Fluent thought hurled
Into chaotic commotion
Why does everything invoke
A visceral reaction
And anything provoke
A mental detachment

The inner workings
Of my befuddled mind
Raise suspicious questions

The doctors all say
Take this or
I don't know who I am,

Or how it all pertains to me.
