Stepping to minimize the heat scorching my bare soles

I make my way to a small patch of wet, sticky grass

The vast view of the ocean amazes me.

I love to watch the waves as they roll in.

The water reaches endlessly out

Swell of salty water, gathering speed
rising high, with thrust it hits, the shore
Everyone at water's edge, take heed

The cool winds brush across me
with the taste of its salty air,
and as I walk across its delicate self
I have no more fears.
