Spelling was no friend of mine, I never got an A
Maybe it's an Omen, of what my life will B
Teachers know I did my best, as far as I can C
What future lies ahead of me, at least it's not a D

Be strong, dot each i, and a cross on every T
When it comes down to spelling, let it just be U
Flash your sign of Victory, boasting of your V
Joining V signs with your brother, displays a W

Wish I had the answer, and I don't know Y
Maybe that's the way, Spelling is suppose to Z
