When you think about marriage many women have a hard time remembering the day they were proposed to, reason being is when you want something to be remembered you have to sure that you have completely thought this through and that you plan everything down to the very last detail. However before you run out and decide that you are going to get married you make want to bring up the idea to your partner this way you know that you are both ready. Would not be a good idea to ask and get told no.

Many men want to pick out the engagement ring and at the same time so do their partners, there are ways that you can get your partner to show you the ring style that she likes without giving away the surprise. The best way would be to get her mother or one of her best friends to go with her and show her a ring and ask her what style she wants when she gets married. We all know that the mall is full of places to find the perfect ring, however you really should have faith in yourself and go with your gut on this one because if you get to many people involved you know somewhere along the line it is going to come out because people will say things when there excited that they really do not mean to. Moms are the worst at keeping this secret because every mom wants to be involved from the beginning to the end of your wedding plans.

Now comes the fun part you need to no the Do's and Don'ts of asking her to marry you and I know that it seems a little overwhelming but again you want this night to be more than perfect. The first thing you should do is go to her mother and father and make sure that they will bless your proposal many people do not feel this is necessary any more, this is true but the point being that you want to marry their daughter and it is very respectful to go and make sure that her parents approve of you asking her the big question. This just makes a parent realize that their little girl has grown up and now has this man that loves her more than life itself. You need to assure them that you love her and also go ahead and let them know you intend to take care of her just as well as they have for the rest of her life. After you ask excuse yourself and allow them to talk by themselves again this is a very big question so if you do not get a good reaction at first just give it a little while you have already done the hard part now. After you get the blessing you get to start your planning process this should be done with care so that everything is perfect.
