Who are the real victims of War?

Military operations around the world cause much destruction to the domestic regions wherein they are launched. Both the landscape and economy of a country is ferociously dismantled, before, during, and after the fighting stops. Consequently then we can definitively conclude, that innocent civilians are the true victims of war. However, this fact is hidden behind global politics, and is considered by war mongers to be the accepted means to insidious ends. This frame of mind is nothing less than imperialistic.

The actual point of deadly contention lies with the plain clothed people of waring countries. Neither the decorated soldier nor his/her superiors can be considered victims, because both have chosen to be an active part of the violence. Thus lies the Irony within...the men, women and children affected by their bullets, are simply trying to live the life they are born into, and not kill a fellow human being.

Whether the militarized objective be destabilization, globalization, occupation or invasion...the loss of civilian life is something that superpowers of the world find insignificant. If the latter was not true, then the face of war would change completely. Perhaps the global community would finally accept war as a human rights issue, and not one of nationalistic pride; because ultimately, there is no excuse under the sun for any amount of innocent civilian deaths predicated by the facilitation of globalism.

Currently, during the violent military operations of our modern age, civilian death tolls consistently rise due to a severe lacking of global civility and general empathy. Sadly, the best example of this would be Iraq. Since the beginning of it's occupation by the U.S. military, over 99,000 civilian deaths have been recorded. Evidently instead of mitigating the causes for war, global leaders choose to play a sly political game which doesn't allow for the complete picture of current events to be shown. Specifically with respect to how much violence actually has taken place abroad.

Furthermore, non-military personnel die every day from "war-like" operations that are kept quiet, so as to not arise contempt within the public heart. For example, with continuing violence between Israel and the Hamas controlled Gaza strip, it is clear that a full blown declared war isn't needed for civilian life to be adversely affected. The operations simply have to be compartmentalized, and this effectively creates an implicit shroud of secrecy. Also, in order to delude public
