A Hunter/Forester Repents

Beneficent Creator of the eternal universe,
In whose all-encompassing sight

And stretch thy shelt'ring Hand
'gainst man's corroding touch
O'er every beast
And (yea, oh God!)
O'er every plant
And tree.
