Not all Angels have wings you know,
How about a wagging tail and a soft cold nose.
For this soft furry Angel of mine,
Has saved my life many of times.
When I was young and just a boy,
I had my dog , my only joy.
My mother had died when I was only three,
Which left only my father, my dog, and me.
My dog's name is Cherish which fits her very well,
My only salvation in my life of hell.
After my Mother had passed away,
My father's hatred grew every day.
Both Cherish and I would suffer from our pain,
And comfort each other forever and again.
Without the love of Cherish I would never had survived,
For she is my constant Angel always by my side.
Her love is rich, her love is deep,
An Angel without wings,
A wagging tail, a cold soft nose,
An Angel without wings.
