The deafening exposure, to Silence rings loud.
Piercing eardrums, of a gathering crowd.
What they won't hear, is heard by none.
Why do they listen? When Silence is not gone.
Open your Mind, if there's nothing to hear.
Believe in the Wherewithal, Silence, not Ear.
Default from the Whisper, devoid of Noise.
Let the sound of Silence, invigorate your Poise.
Slumber and Silence, as partners in Serenity,
Prolongs our Peace, for all Eternity.
Delay your haste, to rid the Silence.
Don't give in, to noisy Defiance.
Peace of Mind, thrives on Quiet.
Gain control of Silence, do not Riot.
Pass on a World, we dare not Fear,
To the Next we bestow, holds Silence Dear.

Poetry: Silence
by Ted Onulak
As silent as flowers in a vase
Taking quiet sips of water
Wordlessly counting their last remaining days
Silent as the sunbeams
by Memee
Millions of snow flakes gently falling to the ground
blanketing the earth with out making a sound.
Star gazing from a hilltop
Silence echos all around me:
nothing.
Reminding me of my thoughts,
and taking me further
into its welcoming depth.

Silence is Silent
Is silence found in heart that beats no more
Or is it placed in a dream without an encore
Is silence revealed
Silence
The flame dances on the wick,
Dances to some silent music.
No pounding beat or tune,
No rhythm or rhyme,
Just...silenc e.
Shadows
