I don't understand what is happening to us
we seem to be falling apart.
headed for leaving eachothers hearts.
We should have seen this coming
should have seen it in eachothers eyes
not taken by surprise.
There has been far less of looking into eachothers eyes
replaced by, miscommunication and lies.
what is going on? Where is my friend?
Have we hit a rough patch? Or is this the end.

Poetry: Wants & needs
by L. Dalton
The Whirlwind
The wind blows cold against my back ,
then burns against my face.
I feel it's pushing and pulling me around,
never
I want unbelieveable happiness,
Permanent sunshine, clear blue skies
Garnished ever so lovely by clouds
Distinctly poised
Sunrise you brighten my days, you lengthen my happiness.
Sunrise you fill me with a love and joy
that I never want to end.
What do I want?
I want to be kind
when it's easier to be mean,
I want to be enthusiastic
when I don't feel keen.
I want to be
by C.D. Pomfret
Fading Fast....
All I want to do is drink
Then complain about the wrath
I enjoy the time I spend while drunk
But dread the pains
