Although many a person has tried to pay their bills by taking online surveys and by writing articles on Helium this is not a good solution to a real job. There are more reasons then countable but just a few of them would include that they are flexible and not in large supply.
Although many have tried there aren't that many way to really make money online. Sure there's 100s of online survey sites and multiple sites to write article for profit they aren't a viable solution to paying your bills. Now if you are tight for cash these sites may loosen up the cash flow a little but they are not a replacement for a job.
Now the first and most popular way for making money online would be taking online surveys. Now these are good ways to make a decent amount of money. The major problem that I see with these sites is that there are only so many surveys out there. If you go to one site you will most likely get the majority of the available surveys from that one site. Once you finish all available sites you are pretty much out of places to make money completing surveys. This may seem like the best plan because of so much money being made in the short term, they don't get surveys up fast enough to make a full income on this. If you combine it with having a job you probably will do a decent amount but this alone is not enough.
Now another popular thing that people do to make money is trying to write papers or other things to make a decent amount of money. Now this idea is a viable option but yet again it doesn't have enough potential to make any substantial amount of money. What most sites do is they go and have you write a lot of papers for them.
Unfortunately, this is a very temperamental business. The first thing that you must know is that this isn't a constant flow of money. Some months you might make a good amount of money, while other you make nothing. This unfortunately is inevitable because you never know how many hits you'll get in any day. The other problem with this is that it has a very slow start up. Since you're writing articles, obviously the more hits you get, the more money you get. Also the more articles you have the more hits you get. Thus the more articles you have the more money you get. This makes it so that when you start and only have lets say 10 articles you won't make all that much money, but once you have about 100 you may start making enough money to do something with.
Well anyway the moral of this is that, no unfortunate;y you won't be making enough money to really make a steady pay check, but if you are persistent with your attempts to make a decent amount of money, you just may make enough money to get that extra 2 inches on your T.V. or be able to pay of that credit card debt that little bit faster. So I wouldn't recommend quitting your day job but it is a fun way to make a little bit of extra cash.
