People for centuries seem to be integrated by the meaning of the dreams. Personally I do not believe that my dreams have a meaning or a connection to a third dimensional world, like the Matrix. However I believe that dreams are recollections of past events.
Of course everyone dreams still we can only recall a few. Almost every night I dream and none of my dreams are the same and I always find myself in diverse place with different individuals. My dreams are hard and deviant. Also if I would be able to sleep out everyday I could right a story every morning. I do not remember when and why my dreams became so horrifying. But they didn't start long a go.
If I could make money out of each dream I would be a millionaire by now. Moreover my family encourage me to collect all my dreams and write a book with all short tales. They even already gave a name to the book, My Nightmares or simply Nightmares.
My mother could not believe that I could sleep at night, since my dreams are so violent and terrifying. So she decided to bring me to our family doctor. Unfortunately the doctor did not know the cause of the dreams. He said that there is a possibility that my nightmares are caused by the type of medicine I use. But I find this hard to believe, given that the only medicine I take is to control high blood pressure. Maybe it has to do with my past life experiences, the fact that I have a kidney disease or because I had a nearly death experiences and therefore I more connected to my inner soul.
One night I had a nightmare about a hot air balloon which took off and soon after got on fire. A balloon dream indicates that you can see the path ahead and that it warns for unfortunate. But in my dream I stood on the ground watching in the direction of the balloon and seeing the people wanting to jump from the balloon basket. Following the balloon, in my dream, I saw some of the people to capture fire or jump out of panic. One of the passengers on the balloon was overweight and jumped out the basket. I started to run since I saw that the men was falling my direction and that is when I woke up.
The next day I read a story of a balloon accident in Canada and people that died while the jumped from the basket.
I could not believe it, because there are not numerous hot air balloon accidents. In addition, because of the time difference with Europe, the dream might have been at the same time as the accident.
Still I do not believe that there is relation to my dreams and reality. Also I am too realistic to consider that we, humans, have a sixth sense. So I remained believing that this occurrence was simply another nightmare.
