What to do when you hate your job

What to do when you hate your job. Well, the first and most obvious answer is to start searching for a new job. Do not quit your current job until you have started working at your new job. Most if not all employers will, as a general rule, work with you if you tell them that you need a second job for bill paying, etc. Work both jobs for a minimum of two months before you quit one job. That way if you decide you hate your new job, you will still have the old one until you find one you like. If you know you will hate the job, don't take it. It's going to a lot easier on you if you stick with doing what you love or doing what you are best at or you will get burned out very quickly and easily and be miserable and then have a higher possibility of yelling at your boss. Avoid at all cost when you quit from a job to quit suddenly and to not say bad words to your boss as you are walking out the door. If your luck is like mine, you might have to go ask for a job back from that employer and you don't want any negativity or bad feelings if you do have to go beg for a job back. When you are at work, do your job. The second to last company I worked for had cart pushers who always hid and then after a "twenty" minute unauthorized break, the parking lot looked bad and nobody could find the cart pushers to make them go clear the lot. The store manager finally fired most of the cart pushers because they were lazy and couldn't do their job without having somebody beside them to hold their hand and make them do their job. Also, do not be in a hurry to yell at your co-workers and do not tell your customers off. Always smile even when you want to pull the customer over the counter (which is also a regrettable decision later on). Smiles confuse people and I like people confused because it's a lot cheaper than tranquilizers or anti-depressant medications. If you have a bad day at home, check your baggage at the door and pick it up as you leave. Tell jokes and try to make people laugh (it's like trying to make the Buckingham palace guards laugh, its almost impossible). Babies and little kids will always be screaming by the time they get to your line, so to calm them down, just talk to them as you would an adult (it throws them off guard and makes them stop crying and watching you to see if you are going to come near them). And finally, never spend your entire paycheck on bills or junk. Be sure to take $5-$20 out each pay day and put it in the bank or a lock box at home for an emergency nest egg in case something happens (you will be glad when you have that for a broken arm or leg).
