Reflections: Where does your inspiration come from?

My Inspiration Comes From Life

My inspiration comes from a great many different things. It also comes in many different shapes. colors and sizes. Most anything can be an inspiration to anyone. Why this or that inspires someone is what makes it unique.

I get inspired by my anger and happiness. Moods swings can bring in an interesting urge or need to write about whatever happens to be going though my head at that moment. When my mood shifts I just feel like writing.

My family is my biggest inspiration (next to God). My mom is wonderful and very creative. She would love to write but currently lacks the time to do so. She pushes forward in this world when it would have her fall back. She knows how much I like to write and is ever pushing me towards an education so that I can be a writer. My mom worked hard for what she's got and continues to work hard.

My dad is also one that works hard for what he has. He too is a man that marched forward when life pushed him back. Seeing my parents push forward and strive for their goals and a better future just makes me want to do the same.

My husband inspires me. His ear to ear smile, encouraging words and the way he looks at me and says a million things without saying a word. Just the fact that he's there for me when I need him is enough to make me happy and want to write. It's the little things he does to show his support and help me out that are inspirational. Sometimes you only need the little things, not the big ones.

When I've been gone all day and come home to a smiling baby, I'm inspired. Watching his daddy feed him or watching him sleep so peacefully all snuggled up. Seeing my son fast asleep on his daddy's chest for their afternoon nap is most precious. Being able to watch my son grow everyday and know that I'm the reason he's happy is and inspiration.

The plants and creatures on Earth are inspiring to me. I can see natures miracles unfold before my eyes. The first rose that has bloomed this season or a single leaf, the first leaf of many that will grow on a sapling. Smelling the fresh spring flowers on a cool breeze or feeling the bright rays of sun beating down upon your face. Taking the chance to see majestic animals like the white tiger and black leopards or watching a caterpillar emerge from its cocoon a full grown butterfly. All of these are nature's miracles and an inspiration to me.
