Poetry: Life or death

The Dreadful Trend

Its sad when someone dies

Even worse when their family, friends and lover cries

They weep and mourn for days on end

Something a lifetime couldn't mend

A broken and empty heart

To think we are only skies apart

Alone, confused and fragile

The constant feeling of wanting to run to them mile after mile

You could followbut it doesn't endNext someone cries for you and it goes on and on like a dreadful trend
