That which I am thankful for
As the years go by and life gets busier it becomes harder for us to remember the important things. The small things around us can be the most important thing we know. Life may be hard but we are given what we need to get through the day.
What I am thankful for:
I met a wonderful man a while back who changed my opinion about never getting married. We are now married with a wonderful bundle of joy. I would trade my two men for the world. My husband encourages me, supports me, takes care of me, he even changes the dirty diapers, and he helps me be a better person everyday. My son is only a few weeks old and everyday with him is wonderful. I have found with my family I don't need much. Just seeing the smile on my husbands face or watching my son spit up on my husband is enough to make me happy.
My mom and dad also support me in what I want to do and try to find ways to help me. Even when times are rough for my parents they help me out when I'm in a bind. I don't know what I would do without them. My parents and I have a "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" relationship. I may scratch theirs this week and then they'll scratch mine next month. I'm thankful to have parents that are there for me I am also lucky to have such caring parents. I am thankful to have such a wonderful family.
I have a roof over my head out in the middle of the woods. Where I live overlooks a lake and a whole bunch of trees. It's a relatively quiet place to live and I even get to see deer in the front yard from time to time.
I am very thankful for today and everyday I wake up. I woke up today and that's enough to be thankful for in itself. I get to have another day with my family and friends. My time here and anyone's for that matter is short. I try to make the most of what I've got even though it can be tough.
I'm starting my second semester at school in January 08. I will be on my way to earning my speech communications degree emphasizing on journalism. I am working on building a writing profile doing small articles online.
I get to do what I love whenever I want. I have a chance to write about whatever I feel like whenever I feel like. When the mood strikes I just log on and start writing. I am very glad that I found Helium. Without Helium I wouldn't know as much as I do now.
I am also very much thankful for my freedom.
I am very thankful for my faith in the Lord.
