How would you like to walk around with a cape representing your achievement of level 99 magic? Imagine all the people watching you as you walk by, kneeling at your presence as if you're some kind of Runescape god. People start following you around the whole map just to admire your skillcape, which took hard work and dedication. People would die to get to level 99 in any kind of skill, especially magic, which isn't the easiest skill to level up, but don't worry. Just follow my advice and my tips, and soon every player in Runescape will be talking about you. And how do I know this? Because I have achieved this. Leveling magic isn't hard, but it will take large amount of time, so don't think you will have it at 99 in just one or two days, but just follow these steps and you will accomplish your goal of level 99 magic. I guarantee it.

Levels 1-33

Leveling up at this level range is quite fast. Yes, the spells do not give as much experience points as the higher spells you get as you get to higher levels of magic, but the amount of experience points in order to reach that next level is so small compared to when you get to higher levels. Okay, all you need to do in these low levels is fight goblins (levels 1-19). The reason you should fight goblins is because they wear armor and armor decreases their magic defense, which is a positive for any mage.

Levels 34-55

It still doesn't get too difficult to level up in this range of levels. You're going to have better spells now, so all you want to do is train with your *newest spell (by *newest spell, I mean the spell that requires the most level that you can perform). Where? Go to Wizard's Tower in Draynor Village. Go to the top floor and there will be a lvl 82 Lesser Demon. But don't get scared! It's caged. This lesser demon is good to train with because it can't hit you back and it has high HP (hitpoints). Defeating this demon is also good because once you get to lvl 33 mage, you will unlock the Telekinetic Grab spell. And the lesser demons are capable of dropping rune med helms, which you can pick up with that specific spell. Awesome? Yeah! You could do this all the way until you get to level 46, unlocking the High Alchemy spell. High Alchemy is one of the best ways to level up except it doesn't give you any Hitpoints experience points, which is bad for any combat mage.

Levels 56-99

Now you're starting to get recognized as a good mage. At lvl 56 you will unlock the Fire Blast spell, which is the best combat spell as a non-member. You can still practice with the Lesser Demon in Wizard's tower or you can high alchemy. There is other options too. Why not go kill some other players and get some good drops to redeem all that money you've spent on runes? Go ahead, you deserve a break at this point. Another good monster to train with, in my opinion, is Hill Giants. Why? Because it drops big bones. These bones are very good for your prayer and give 3x more exp than regular bones. All you need to do is train or high alchemy until you get to level 99. It won't be easy, i can promise you that.
