Runescape. A fascinating virtual world with thousands of players on-line every second of every day. Fighting for their lives and working hard to earn money for weapons, armor, robes, and runes. This game takes dedication and cleverness. I've been playing for almost 2 years now and I'm proud to say it is just everything you want an on-line game to be. This game is role-playing style kind of game mixed with a little of everything. Yes, many people compare it to W.o.W. (World of Warcraft). And yes, it is something very similar to W.o.W., just for some minor exceptions like the graphics and the virtual world in W.o.W. is way bigger than Runescape's.

But, I am not saying Runescape isn't a good game because it is. Yeah, it doesn't have the great graphics that other games have, but that shouldn't be the reason to judge this game. The graphics are fair and the game play is just amazing, especially if you are a member, which I have never experienced but it is very cheap. As a member, there is so much more great features, the world is more than 3x bigger than the normal world, there is nine more skills you can train, there is over 100 extra quests to finish with great rewards, you can play fun mini-games, and you even have you own home to construct!

I've never been member and i can tell you this game is amazing. Give it a try and i guarantee you will like it. Just take some tips from people on how to make money at the starting because, like me, many people just quit at the starting because they find it hard to make money, since all your stats are at 1. But don't let that be the reason to stop playing this awesome game. And if you've played W.o.W. before you will like this game. I know you'll be saying that W.o.W. is much more amazing and I won't argue with that, but everyone has their own opinion.

And like I said before, this game takes dedication. And yes, it is very addicting. I've lowered my game play to just about an hour a day, but when I first started to play, I would play for about 3-5 hours a day! I know that's crazy, but I couldn't help it because it's just so awesome and very addicting. Leveling up your skills to high levels takes lots of time. For example smithing, in my opinion, is one of the hardest skills to level up. It takes lots of time and dedication.

For everyone that has not played this game before, you should definitely give it a try. Many people say it's for people under 14 years of age, but that's not true. I'm 15 and I've been playing since I was like 12. I've met many other people who are much older than me. And don't worry about the activity on Runescape. It is very safe. The filter doesn't let you say profanity at all. And if someone curses, you can report him/her and he/she will get banned.

Just give this game a try, and I assure you will get addicted. You can also make many friends on-line and is a very good experience. And if some other player just won't stop bugging you, don't be afraid to put them on your ignore list.
