Poetry: Birds

by Thomas Kurkoski

Created on: December 24, 2008

the bluebird sings

its rainbow song

as the clouds storm

their sunshine droplets

on the exterior side

of the window of life

speaking to lavender

flowers bathing

like kittens playing

in green sugary grasses

of autumns steel warmth

as the cockroaches concentrated

to invade the dusty palace

of post nuclear planet earth
