The lady who has everything can receive more than she ever dreamed was possible. These gifts can be very unique since they represent the giver's intentions to celebrate the value of the relationship that they share long after Christmas has passed. Each gift is a commitment.

1. Take photos, draw or cut out pictures from a magazine of some simple objects and write activites that relate such as a plate for a breakfast, lunch or dinner date or a shell for a future trip to the shore. Give her the pictures with a promise to participate in those activities together.

2. Write statements about services that can be given later such as helping her with shopping, making a desert, and washing her car.

3. Using the 12 days of Christmas song as a model, consider what 12 gifts can be given and each day give a message expressing why you are thankful that she is in your life.

4. Find a copy of a holy book and tell her that you want to set aside time to pray with her or go to worship service together.

5. If she likes to read, find the latest release of a book written by her favorite author. Wrap it as a present and include a note to say that you would like to read the first Chapter to her.

6. Plan a quiet evening at home. Wrap up a soft blanket and tell her that she can choose a movie to watch and then sit close and snuggle.

7. Purchase an attractive or humorous coffee mug or tea cup and put a note in it saying that you will fix her favorite beverage then sit and enjoy being together.

8. Tape your voice teling her how much she means to you and give her the tape.

9. If she likes jewelry, write a note telling her that you will accompany her on a shopping trip and then be patient while she looks for something she would like.

10. If she enjoys baking, get a basket and fill it with all of the ingredients for her favorite kind of cookies or cake and write a note saying that you would like to help her in the kitchen.

12. If she likes to write, give her a journal or some stationary and stamps. In the gift include a note about how talented she is and tell her than you would like to help her with a search for the perfect pen. Then go out with her and look.

Depending on interests and the time that can be devoted, these gifts can be as small or as large as desired. The intention is to move away from material gifts to a present of time and then you will be creating memories that will last. T

he gift of patience is a very valuable one. In the busy world that we live in it's wonderful when people care about one another. It's important to be attentive to each other's interests. By sharing time, chances are that the receiver of such gifts will be happy to know that their present was chosen wisely because it expressed so much love.
