Have you anticipated what the earth would be like in thirty years? Elevated buildings and sky scrapers soaring the sky. We would use hover crafts as a source of transportation. Some may even hope for a faster pizza delivery.
Well none of these are going to happen if we don't act now. Some would say global warming is just a big joke. Well it is not a big joke. Summer is the hottest time of year, it will get hotter and hotter if we don't do little things to stop it.
There are many not so big things that we can do to help. Whether going to school or work there is a possibility to walk. Driving is never compulsory. Even if you live far, it isn't an excuse to drive. You can still go there but only will take longer. This doesn't mean that you cannot drive to work. If it is necessarily, try to car pool or go to work with someone.
Going to school is a whole different situation. Usually when you go to school, it should be in walking distance. Sometimes we woke up late and driving is the only solution to not going to class late. This is a bad habit. Once parents do this, kids will think that their parents will always drive them. Even if you are running late, do what you usually do.
Another way is to go environmentally friendly. Most of us have ornamental lights for all occasions. Try to get the LED light bulbs rather then the old fashion kinds. When the holidays approach, we often buy gifts for families and friends. As a new product, many would swathe it up in several layers of plastic. This is however extremely not worth it. The decorations would end up it the garbage can eventually. These heavy plastic decorative wraps cannot be recycled. As a result, it will be embryonic or burned. Something to think about is, why waste so much money?
When you go environmentally friendly doesn't mean to go become an eco freak. This is just for you to know that you should be aware of what you can conserve and pollute less. Since most materials are made from scraps, this would mean that almost anything can be recycled.
Sometimes for electronics, try to get the up to date ones. Even a computer screen monitor can pollute a huge deal. By getting the up to date ones, it will be equipped with the best items to make this monitor less more environmentally friendly.
There are several ways to be environmentally friendly, it actually just depends on if you choose the path to. Anyone can make dissimilarity. Polar bears are slowly out of ice, they don't have what they use to have. Why should you be so comfortable and do what ever you want and make others suffer? Without animals, where would you get your source of meat?
By doing what you can to make the world a better place to live in, not only help yourself but others as well. Taking the bus, riding a bike, running, jogging, walking and even roller blade to your intention is a great start.
