Scour, is a new and exciting search engine out there for users that are interested in receiving search results from all major search engines at once. Not only can users search for webpages, but video and images as well. The introduction of the website's features itself isn't nessarly new however it is welcome.

One glance at Scour and you can tell this website has some very interesting and exciting features. It's hard not to admit that this website could be the next big thing when it comes to searching the world wide web. With the tag line Search Socially, Scour also features way's to interact with other users through comments.

Does Scour stand a chance in competeing with other search engines? Perhaps, but only time will tell. In the meantime let's take a look at the design, and features of Scour. Aside from that, we'll discuss Scour's reward exciting reward program.

Design

Scour's main page keeps it simple, which many users will simply adore. In that regard they take a page from the Google hand book so to speak, but when it comes to searching the differences change completely. as search results are displayed by MSN, Goggle, and Yahoo services.

Features

At first glance it can be hard to fathom why you've never heard of such a useful website. Scour gives users gift card rewards for searching, voting, and commenting on search results. This feature itself sounds too good to be true, and indeed it is sadly. The downside to the system is that points are capped, and the rules are very strict.

Those who go through with trying out the rewards scheme are required to wait anywhere from two to four weeks while Scour employee's check over that persons account to make sure everything is legal. Nevertheless, for those that don't mind the ammount of waiting time and rules, could potentially find themselves with some extra money.

Commenting on search results is actually a very interesting feature that other search engines don't have. For example other users could be warned of risky images or viruses by the comments of other useres.

Notes

Overall Scour is a great search engine with some interesting features. However its nothing compared to Google and other search engines, and would be absolutely nothing without them. Some advice to Scour would be to offer users ways to receive gift cards sooner, and to loosen up on the rules.
