Where have you gone?
You left me here, alone.
It's dark and cold,
and I'm alone.
I hunger for your presence,
your divine intervention.
As I sit here without you,
I've lost all attention.
A gray fog seems to settle
on all thoughts at once.
And again I'm reminded of
what your visits brought.
I hardly noticed you leaving
til the time you were gone,
and now I sit weeping
for the friend that I lost.
I hope soon that I'll find you.
I hope in a dream.
And as soon as I wake up,
have all that you bring.
