December Sky, I Can't Reach You.
A year today, a whirlwind romance,
Whipped us away.
A year tomorrow, you showed me,
Your heart.
And from that day we started running,
From the December sky,
A year ago, today.
We had everything in a year,
You were everything to me,
And I was everything to you.
Yet in a few days, we threw the year away.
And now I stand on the brink of tomorrow,
Knowing that a year ago today,
You took my hand and kissed me.
But today tomorrow will just be empty.
Under the December sky,
This time I can't reach you.
Can I relive these days?
Knowing that once they were days,
where you were in my arms?
Can I relive these times?
Knowing that you're just around the bend,
But in the wrong direction.
I miss you.
I dread the days alone with just the memories.
Of a year ago today.
The December skies draw closer,
But this time,
I can't reach you.

Poetry: I can't reach you
I have always held you close to me, so why have you distanced your love from me?
You were the only one that was born out
December Sky, I Can't Reach You.
A year today, a whirlwind romance,
Whipped us away.
A year tomorrow, you showed me,
Your heart.
And
by Jon Coe
Your doors are always wide ajar
windows with a view so far
Door steps leading up a wall
pathway leading, no recall
Telephone
Shadows descend from every thought
shading what was covered by stars.
I don't know how to find my way back,
but I know
Too far to make it
Make back safe
Too much too soon
Now there no hope
As you stretch out
A hand, I know too well
It's too late
