Poetry: Until I die

by Casalan

Until I die I will mock superstition,

breathe ambition,

compile ammunition.

Until I die I will look towards God,

lean on logic,

clear dogmatic fog.

Until I die I will visit those I love,

testing our friendships,

boiling up our blood.

Until I die I will seep artistic juice,

sweat upon my papers,

let it all hang loose.

Until I die I will wish to die with piety,

flee from notoriety,

help correct society.

Until I die I will reveal to you the truth,

never watered-down,

you can take it as you choose.

Until I die I will breathe a heavy burden,

love until it hurts,

give until I'm cursed.

Until I die I will ravage all you life for,

show you your mistakes,

destroy your happy face.
