Something to ponder, that has been running madly in the cranial squirrel cage for some time. What would the socialist politicians in Washington do if suddenly their plans for spending our tax dollars went awry? Say the taxpayers of this country suddenly decided that enough is enough and stopped paying taxes completely, working for cash or barter instead. No not just a few people but several million, especially in the Midwestern and Western areas made up of small towns and farming communities. After all, our country got along just fine with no income taxes at all for almost a hundred years, then politicians decided they needed to get rich off the backs of the working people and everything went to hell in a hatbox. So why not have a revolution of people quitting paying taxes because they just get mostly wasted anyway.
Montana has already threatened to secede, having been fortunate enough to have people that thought ahead and retained that right for them. Texas was once a country in its own right. California was too, but they are so overly dependent on welfare and other taxpayer-supported systems they'd never dare be so bold as to secede now. Is it going to take another civil war to regain our rights and our freedom from our own elected officials that have run amok and gotten the idea that we work for them, and not the other way around? Why should it take bloodshed when all people need to do is wake up from the litany of false promises, go to the polls with clear heads, and elect people to those offices that know a budget' is not a suggestion, but a real boundary one cannot cross?
Anyway, that brings up another interesting thought, about how many states would want to secede and thereby protect their citizens from the Washington temper tantrums. Stealing their binky' from them, meaning the tax dollars they waste annually, would tend to raise a ruckus but at the same time it would curtail their evil plans of adding another S' to the USA.
Another thing to think about is the plans of those same socialist politicians to take away the rights that our people fought for many times. They want to take away our right to write, speak, own property, and defend ourselves on the premise that they know more about what we need than we do. That is trying to take us back to the dark ages where only the clergy and those in power could read, thereby they could control the people through ignorance. Just look at our public school systems and how they have become less and less places of
