Is World of Warcraft a complete waste of time? Well, if having some time to relax and actually take some stress of work is just that, then yes it is. It is really an activity that can be enjoyable if that is something you are into to. I have never played it all but have seen it played but would not dare say it is a complete waste of time. There are two arguments to say that it is and it isn't. The purpose will be to look at both ends and then let you, the reader, decide if you feel that it is just that a waste of time.

It is a waste of time: There are many things that you can do outside of playing this game like going outside and enjoying the fresh air. Say you have that important midterm paper you have to complete for college and you keep putting it off until it gets real late and you have to scramble to get it done. Perhaps a big deal on that could be players playing for hours at a time getting lost with reality, which can happen with about anything in general.

It's not a waste of time: The biggest is an activity that can relieve stress. There are days that you can get on there and just relax without having to worry about any work or problems that you may be facing each and every day. By calling this a waste of time would be saying that playing any video game in general is a waste of time. Even outside of just playing the game, it would be a chat to be involved and sometimes those can be interesting. Think of it as interaction online when it comes to chatting and that's about it.

Well, it is true that it is a popular online game to get involved, it has its pros and cons on whether it is or isn't a waste of time. You have to look at both views and decide for yourself because there is no right or wrong answer. However, it would be best to at the least try it to see if it would be something to get involved with and if it isn't, then it isn't. Make sure to give yourself some time away from playing World of Warcraft because going without sleep or eating anything is not healthy. Never played the game one way or another but have played different games that offer online gaming. It's a subject that gets debated on for years on whether something is a waste of time.

While not directly saying it isn't a waste of time, but wouldn't that also label video games in general as just that, a waste of time? Would be a bit unfair but you know people will think how they are going to think regardless. Despite all of this, the debate will not end for a long time. You will have your group that will actually say it is a waste of time and then you have one that will say it isn't. World of Warcraft is popular and that's something that cannot be denied at the end of the day.
